A Look Inside

A Look Inside is a photo series that allows the viewer to pause, reflect, and take a look inside moments of a possible life people live. The series uses silhouettes and an apartment window as its ‘stage’ all while opening a window into someone's life. A Look Inside acts out moments of the everyday life of a couple inside an apartment. Real or not, ask yourself what do you assume about these people and why? Through themes of intimacy, and human connection, A Look Inside allows the viewer to take a glimpse into someone's life, a moment to pause, watch, and reflect.

    About The Artist

    Michelle Beaudry

    Michelle Beaudry is a photographer based in Toronto, and Clearview Ontario. Inspired by the small moments in life, Michelle focuses on documentary, and portrait photography. She sees photography as a way to slow down and appreciate the quieter, small details of everyday life—an invitation for others to pause and reflect. Her work also explores themes of femininity and intimacy, capturing moments that feel personal and tender, yet not overtly sexual.
