Unbranded

Samantha Perez

Unbranded is a project that revolves around the concept that true fashion is not in the price tag, but within personal identity and style itself. Photos of real people who have crafted and created outfits that hold a sense of style and their own personal identity from thrift stores, challenges the idea that owning expensive and luxurious brands of clothing automatically equates to being fashionable. This series showcases a selection of outfits that truly showcase the personal aspects of each individual, and how they chose to style them, redirecting what fashion really means to its core, and ultimately proving to the world that thrift stores are just as capable as achieving looks that luxury brands do.
