To Those Who Saw The Stars

Aris Aoide

The universe was created by the desires of space itself; its “soul” was full of endless wishes. It wanted friends, and so wished for life. It wanted to see, and so wished for stars.

Of those stars, two of them each have their own planet; Asoch and Rolas each orbit their own star, yet despite their apparent independent freedom, the people of Rolas are oppressed by the ruling body of Asoch. After close to a century of subjugation, cracks grow as the desire for peace turns into animosity.

To Those Who Saw the Stars follows Tonph, the leader of Holise, Rolas’ constellation village, and their friends Pyr and Tia, at the climax of their long history contending with the rulers of Asoch.

It is a story of oppression, dreams, hope, love, and sacrifice.

And it is their story that killed the soul of space.

This animated story takes on the stylized form of manga and comic books to deliver a “moving comic” experience, in which many of the characters interact with the comic elements themselves, deploying a method of conveying the story through text, as well as remaining integrated into the world itself.

To Those Who Saw the Stars explores life far from our world, yet everything feels so familiar.
