A Dream That Grew From Concrete

MEAZY R

This body of work is rooted in the tension between traditional expectations—the social, physical, and economic—and the persistent drive of the creative psyche. It is an investigation into how the artistic spirit successfully blooms by simply holding onto the light of a dream.

Through a series of six large-scale portraits, I map the geography of restriction mixing in digital floral projections to symbolize the persistent energy of the psyche. The use of transparent plexiglass and a synchronized 'heartbeat' rhythm creates a 3D space where the viewer becomes a literal component of the transition. The project serves as a testament to resilience: a study of how we nourish that creative vitality when the surrounding world feels dull or stagnant.
