Originally from Chicago, I am a Canadian artist who works with a variety of mediums including charcoal, ink, and oil paint. As an artist, I always aim for authenticity. I believe it is the easiest to reflect through figure drawing; in which the artist is forced to empathize with the model to reflect complexity. Every piece I have worked on is intended to relate to a personal detail of my life whether it be family, friends, or what I think of as home.
