If the behaviour of my actions and the witnessing of my skin leaves you uncomfortable, then why is it that our very brothers exercise my sins as rights? As a trans woman, I’ve learned more deeply about the relationship between myself and my body and, along with its perception, it is something that is forever changing. It will never take a final form nor does it ever need to. Despite the perception, opinions and comments, it is the choice that matters. My choice to act the way I act, or dress the way I dress, or love the way I love cannot be criticized as sexual, perverted or taboo, unless these criticisms are applied to all standards of life.
