“Life Lines” is a black-and-white image series that maps out the individuality located within the details of one’s hands. Features such as scars, wrinkles, freckles, and muscles create a visual story which reveals information about each person. From Olympic athletes and landscapers, to artists and babies, this project covers a range of individuals of different ages, races, interests and physical abilities. My hope for this project is to encourage others to cherish the characteristics and imperfections that tell their own authentic story.
