As humans, we need love to function and we need to be able to bond and form connections to have healthy communities and relationships. Connections is a street photography series documenting human interaction and human bonding. I went around Toronto documenting any sort of relationship, from platonic to something more romantic. I looked for people of all ages doing all sorts of activities together like playing in the snow, going for a walk, or just sitting together in silence. With their permission, I photographed them and tried to make each photograph look as natural as possible.
Bianca Ribadeneira is a Toronto-based photographer who specializes in concert and documentary photography, but also enjoys working in editorial photography. Bianca has a passion for live music and loves to capture people in their element; she captures the emotions that live shows can bring. She has also worked on a number of documentary projects throughout the years, and her storytelling abilities and imagination are evident in her images.
