Old Town is a research-based documentary photobook project examining the different architectural styles of the Old Town neighbourhood in Toronto. Old Town is described by the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Heritage Conservation District Plan as being the original ten blocks that were a part of the settlement of the Town of York. These ten blocks are still present in the city and are contained within Jarvis St. to the west, Adelaide St. E to the north, Berkeley St. to the east and Front St. E to the south.

Utilizing full frame and close-up images, this book sheds light on architectural trends and patterns that can be seen through the buildings in the oldest part of the city. These images are accompanied by texts about the specific buildings and history of the city, as well as archival images and documents to provide context as to how the city looked and what was happening at the time.
