Artists in their Element dives into the world of concerts, specifically the way the artists are capable of performing in the ways that they do and capturing what goes into their stage presence and passion for performing. Each photo shows the connection between the artist and their performance. I try to capture the raw energy that happens and the focus that goes into these performances. There is a sort of rhythm throughout my photos, between the light, motion and emotion of the concert. I wanted to display the confidence and dedication that these artists put into making the shows enjoyable not only for themselves, but for the audience as well. Concerts show artists being vulnerable, as this can be their safe space and a way for them to show the world the one thing they are most passionate about. Live music is so enjoyable to me and I love going to concerts, so I hope with my photos I am able to show that passion and the way that music can be an escape for some people.
